Because of the "Book Club" suggestions, I have read The Long Tail and Outliers. I would recommend both of them. Does anyone know any other sources of information on Math Specialty Schools?

Alibris (and Abe books) are basically brokers for small used book stores across the world. You can search for a copy of a book that is currently out of print (like The Abandoned, one of my favourites) and it will pop up in one of their affiliated shops -- maybe in London. You see the comparative prices and decide what you want to do (often the shipping charges are greater than the cost of the book). Once the book is secondhand (unless it is missing its front pages), the other considerations I think are null and void.

I bought copies of the Doige book (through Alibris -- wonderful source for good secondhand books, especially hard cover) for all of my teaching colleagues that I thought might read it. I lent my copy of Blink to the Superintendent and am thinking an even better choice might be Outliers.

Oops! I read more closely/carefully, and I see Kootenay Lake is your school district according to your profile. Nice to see that people from outside of Vancouver are joining this network, has to be hard to meet other like-minded teachers in the smaller school districts.
